I'm moving flats in a couple of weeks and as I'm migrating from a double to a single bed I naturally need a couple of new duvet covers.

Now, I want something with a bit of colour - a splash of blue or red perhaps. But everywhere I look the red is in the shape of a flower and the blue in the shape of shells and starfish.

Where the hell can I find masculine duvet covers?! Even Next and IKEA don't have much/anything other than plain dyes.

Advice on a postcard OR what duvet cover(s) do you have?

Ikea have loads, so do most bedding places. Certainly not all flowers etc. Mine are none flowery. Brought them from loads of different places.

Ours at the moment is one of those things from the 80s with red, black and blue lines on it.

The other main ones are in the wash and the cats have ruined the other set so this one was dragged out of the cupboard.

Plain red duvet cover with plain dark brown sheet. Looks really good. especially if you have a leather bed frame.

can get plain ones from pretty much anywhere. Including the big supermarkets.

Have a look at Argos, they have hundreds (literally!). My duvet covers came from there, one Blue, with oriental style X's down one side, and another Blue one with swirls down one side (and a Red one of the sameish design). :)

Mine are just plain brown reversible to cream....what is wrong with just a plain one, no need to spend +£15 either.
