4-pin molex cables won't take solder?

I bought some brand new 4-pin molex to sata power adaptors...

I now need to solder the cables but the cables won't take the solder, why is this? :(
 
Why do you need to solder them exactaly.? :o
I'm reducing clutter in my case, and shortening cables...
Sand or file off the silver, (tin), coating down to the base copper and try again.
I'll give this a go, this does seem very strange, I've never come across molex cables you could not solder before... It's almost as if the cable is made from steel?
Bakers fluid helps too.
I'm already using flux, I'll try some of this if I can find it...
