Simple thread, whether old or new, used or abandoned post your favourite building in the city or town you currently reside in, near or share a postcode for.

Mine is the Old Post Office in Leeds, City Square:

Anyone agree for Leeds?

I'm biased as I'm part of the University. It's a tough one and a real toss-up between some of the newer buildings such as Urbis and the very old ones such as the Cathedral, however I think I like the John Rylands Library the most.

Built in the late 1880s by a wife to remember her husband, it is a remarkable example of Victorian neo-gothic architecture. Recently been renovated, it is a fully functioning library nestled in amongst some of Manchester's most modern architecture.

The interior is amazing

Prague Castle/St. Vitus Cathedral

Difficult choice really as there are loads of interesting buildings here.

Hmm.....when looking at some of those Liverpool really has either pittance or just uncomparable buildings. We have e.g. the docks or the Liver building but they're a bit meh'ish. I'm going for St. George's Hall :

Not historic but I like it, pic I took a while back:
