before i turned on the system i changed it to setting in the picture shown as 2, which i think is normal.

now should i change it back to how it was or leave it?

but when i unpacked it was already on number 1 shown in my diagram so if thats turbo why was it on that? as i would have thought it would come on setting normal?

Because if as standard it comes set to normal, and is hooked up to a quad SLI system without the user realising the settings were even there and booting up and it goes POP.?

Better to be on Turbo mode and not need the extra power than be on Normal mode and not have enough juice :)

Like widdyst said, turbo mode lets you combine all the 12v rails into a single 72A rail... I personally would leave it on turbo mode...

Hmmm, I wouldn't think so mate... it just turns the PSU into a powerful single rail unit instead of having several rails...

is this normal for the +12v to drop when the system is under load?

i know software monitoring isn't good for voltages but as u can see it idle at 12.10v but under load it drops to 11.84v
