Help setting up 2nd GTX260

Right today i got hold of another GTX260 and i haven't got a clue what I'm doing :D

It did work once but it cut my PPD in half :confused: so i reinstalled the drivers and now this.

Do i need to make a dummy plug that i keep hearing about if so i haven't got any resistors laying around :mad:
 
I don't think it would get that far if it needed a dummy plug. It's saying it can't contact the servers at Stanford so it may not be your problem. However, I'd try removing the forcegpu flag as you shouldn't need it if both GPUs are the same and I don't know if g200 if the right parameter for it.
 
Right its now all working made a dummy plug found some 68 ohm resistors lucky me :D its weird that it was trying without it as i thought i would tell me to get lost.
But now I'll be on the move :D
 
Nice! Where from/what for?

How is your CPU folding, VM/Linux or standard. Flat out using VMs your rig must be good for 20-21KPPD :D
 
Very nice! I'm jealous, what's the PPD for 2 GTX260? 10-12K? I'm going to have to watch my back! :)
 
I would say 12-14K, although you'll be parping me in a month and a half :eek: :( Unless I can get everything back working again.

You'll have a little longer than that as I'm moving house next week so will have to shut down for a while :(, hopefully I'll make it into the top 100 before I move.
 
Yep, I've got the normal client running on each core of a E5200 and a PS3 going as well but the 2 8800GS do most of the work.
 
Yeah it's on 24/7 but it's also my main rig so if I'm gaming I'll turn one of the GPU clients and the normal clients off, but most of the time its just folding.
