Travelling to Calais, Dangerous???

keep the fams locked in the motor, any sign of trouble floor it

might also be worth putting french police number in your mobile

tbh i dont think you'll have any problems whatsoever man :)

So keep the doors locked, whats he gonna do, knife your tyres?

Or if on foot, carry a big knife yourself, theres never anyone at customs there anyway, they're always off smoking a rollup and eating cheese

Well me and my mate are in France at the moment and will be travelling back through Calais on Saturday. Watch the news because we won't be stopping if someone forms a human chain in front of us.

Doors will be locked, valuables won't be on show but God help anyone trying to hijack us....

1400mm Artillery or T2 Torps should sort them out for you.

Make sure you've got a decent kinetic tank.

Well I have Minmatar BS V and Arti Spec V so bring it on :D

Failing that I will log on my second account who is Gall Carrier V and launch a bunch of drones on their asses (also known as throwing a handful of coins very hard directly at the faces).

Just been to visit this today but really don't think it will fit on the roof of my mate's car. Don't think he has the powergrid for it either.

They are truly cuckoo and their driving is even worse. Me and my mate came to the conclusion tonight that there impatience when out driving is borne of frustration and sitting at traffic lights that insist on flashing green for non-existant pedestrians. The lights are so damn slow it is mind-numbing.

There is a UK border force show on what of the freeview channels at the moment which looks at people trying to smuggle through the ports.

They do seem to have a lot of Afghans trying to get through to the UK on the lorries that come across. They showed hordes of them all behind a fence and they will try anything to get across, but for some reason, the French police can't move them on. They have kind of setup camp so to speak. Although they catch a lot of them as they come through to the UK, there are many that get through because not every vehicle gets fully checked.

I don't see how this will effect your holiday though... if anything it's a safer place because the borders security and policing is higher than elsewhere.

since when has uk emergency services number been 112?
112 is the European emergency number. If you dial it in the UK, you are immediately redirected to 999. Just like if you dial it in France, you are immediately redirected to 15/17/whatever emergency service you happen to need. The same thing will happen in any other EU country that you happen to dial the number in.
