I should be getting my Dell 2209WA monitor today.

I was wondering if any other user's of this monitor plug their usb gaming mouse and keyboard into the monitors usb hub and if so have you had any issues?

This would be the best way for me to connect both the mouse and keyboard but i don't want to compromise the performance of the 2 devices when i'm gaming.

The builtin hub is a powered one and so you will not having issues using the two device you mentioned. Even if it was not powered you still wouldn't have issues so as mouse and keyboard are low power.

Some keyboards arent low power.

Not had any issues with mine though.

Sure, like those Logitech ones with LCD displays etc so in this instance you are correct but the point is moot for Plasmahal since he using the powered hub of the monitor. He could have all the extra LCDs and flashy lights on his keyboard and mouse and it would still work :)

I have the original G15 and a wired optical mouse plugged into mine (infact the mouse is in the keyboard then into the monitor) and it works fine.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I have a razer diamondback 3g and a saitek eclipse 2, so i just wanted to know if anyone had had previous issues running devices of those ports.
