Lo all,

Just clocked this on my Google Reader.

The Secret of Monkey Island is now an iPhone/iPod Touch App.

At £4.99 it's a steal. I'm so excited!

Hmm the pointer control is a pain - that could have been done a lot better. Also no sound control for background vs speech.

Other than that it seems good!

Wierd thing was - I was thinking that this would be awesome for an iPhone game just the beginning of this week

Will wait until some video reviews start popping up before purchase

However, itunes reviewers are giving it 5 stars left right and center :eek:

Had a quick try...you're right. The cursor is well off. Doesn't track touch at all well and, unless I'm missing something, it's quite an effort to change from 'walk', 'talk', 'open' etc.

Looks and sounds great though.

Bought this right away as soon as i heard it was released, really nice port.

I agree the controls are a little hard to use, but once you get used to them they're fine.

Well worth the money!

Thought i'd play it a while before posting, but this is superb!

If i'm completely honest, if it was out for mac i'd have gotten it to play on my macbook, but once you're used to the controls this is perfectly playable and i love the way you can swipe two fingers over the screen to revert to the nostalgic look of the original version

highly recommended, very playable, all round awesome game
