Nice place to eat (Harrogate)

Restaurant Bar & Grill is okay. Food is nothing special in my view - fish and chips, steak and chips, green thai curry etc. Same sort of stuff that you anywhere else.

The Clocktower restaurant and bar in Rudding Park is very good. Nice ambience during the day, afternoon and in the evening.

Obviously if you don't mind spending a bit more, theres the Hotel Du Vin restaurant.

Are you there by yourself or do you have a partner in tow?

Ah we are staying at Rudding Park could be a good shout.

If you're with your other half, no point asking if you fancy a lads night on the booze and a curry after. :(

If you don't mind a drive into Leeds, I'd thoroughly recommend Brasserie Blanc (Raymond Blanc's place). The ambience there is absolutely superb, smart but relaxed, service very good quality and the food is delicious, and not too unreasonably priced.

Not sure if you're aware of this, but there's a diner's club membership scheme covering a lot of the Yorkshire restaurants where you pay something like £50 a year and you get unlimited 2 for 1 meals at some very well known restaurants.

Ohh didnt know this will take a look. :)

The centre of Harrogate is pretty small so you can walk round it and just look for the place that takes your fancy. All the decent restaurants are closely clustered to the bus station in the centre.
