So my insurance for my car is due next month

ive had my renewal letter through from esure as they automatically renew if they dont hear back from the customer.

anyway, they quoted me £328 Fully comp, 7 years NCB, and with my wife as named driver on a UK provisional license.

ive just been to the usual compare sites and the cheapest i can find is £360 fully comp.

ive never had a renewal price that has been the cheapest!

one thing this policy don't give is NCB protection because my wife being named driver on a provisional.

anyone know any companies that will give me the NCB protection even with my wife as named driver on provisional?

I'm with esure. I have my sister on the policy and she's only got a provisional. They let me protect my no claims!

No, but have you tried doing an online quote with Swiftcover, as they are usually very competitive as they're online only.

Would be interested to know what the car is too.

they quoted me: £406.24 fully comp with NCB protection but all drivers need to have Full License.

I've just opened a policy with esure, they were the cheapest I could find. Paid £768 with £60 cashback with Quidco. The policy is third party fire and theft (I got banned for drink driving in '02, didn't get my license back till June '07)

Question is have you learnt your lesson :P Thats about the same im paying now on my Focus 1.6 Derv, although only been driving since oct 08.

Oh yes, absolutely!

Can't believe the states I used to drive home in, I was a complete ****. I won't drive even after a sip of alcohol now. I must admit though, it's a sobering thought knowing that I will go to prison if I'm caught again. I'd probably lose everything I've worked for too!
