FYI AcidHell2 it isn't about OcUK pride at all. If it is, it says a lot about your ego. If you have to hijack what should be a fun competition aimed at CHILDREN then I feel saddend.

This kind of action is exactly the reason I believe these competitions to be abhorrent. It reminds me of the pushy parent in Little Britain taking their child along to audtions. It does not represent harmless fun, it represent the banal, the shallow and the superficial aspects of society. I doubt half of the kids on there had any say in their pictures being put up. And even then you have groups of people on different forums trying to outdo each other. How utterly sad and without backbone those who join in.

Ever thought that you might just vote for who YOU would like to win for a change... And then you wonder why the government walks all over us. Go figure.

Why post here with negative comments? Why not just ignore and go on with your life? What's a bit of fun and banter got to do with the way the Government run the country? :rolleyes: Why can't parents enter their kids in this? It's all a bit of fun. Get a life and get out the thread if our not happy with it. Simples. :D
 
Given the amount of interest this competition has attracted I'm sure the Government would consider it a great way to attract votes for MPs - imagine a Face of Parliament competition with pictures of all our beloved MPs & we could vote for the ones that we like the look of. Imagine their captions too.

Its a bit of fun showing some nice forum spirit, nothing wrong with that and people dont need to vote.
