Looks pretty good. Games on demand is the improvement I'm most interested in (depending on the price of course) but everything else looks like it'll further enhance the dashboard.

Don't know about rating games you haven't played though, could be open to abuse.

*Still wants the Sky update more than anything*

And I thought buying all those costumes for LittleBigPlanet was a rip off. MS are having a laugh if they think people are going to buy virtual cloths.

At least with LBP, you get more out of it.

*This post is only to compare the whole buying cloths for a virtual character*

I think the avatar marketplace might take off in the sense that people may make one or two purchases to get their character the way they want it and that's it. For example how we used to (and still can) buy gamer pictures rather than use the built in ones.

Your wrong, very wrong.

If MS released Licensed football kits, basketball, etc etc Clothes from games like Cog outfits from gears, Halo outfits, Ghillie suits and so on, they would fly off the virtual shelves. This of course they know and will make a fortune along with game companies and sports teams.

This, this, and very much this. They wouldn't be doing it if they didn't know full well it will make them money.

There are 3 kinds of people, those that want something and will happily pay for it, those that don't and couldn't careless how much it costs and those that don't but still write in to points of view to complain about the cost.

I guess I underestimated how dumb some people are. I'd praise ms if they awarded cloths, items, weapons ect for avatars by earning points in games. Not by having to pay £2-3.

Each to their own. Everything else in this update is something I'd like to see on the sony front.

Home proves that people are stupid enough to fork out on virtual clothes. Diesel t-shirts in Home cost 1.79 iirc and you see enough people walking around plastered in Diesel 'clothing'.

lol. I haven't logged into home since it came out. If I log in now, will I get made fun of for my cheap cloths? :(

They best not charge for a ghillie suit, I want it unlocked from COD6, no matte rhow many playing hours I need to plough into it, or any manner of achievments.
