It was a great show, the Eurofigher was the highlight for me and waves were a bit too close for comfort, although it was funny seeing the little lad getting soaked

couldnt get to this years as i had to work :mad:

but i did see a few planes fly over i work in Sunderland city centre

Yep, I mean the right. I probably wouldn't want to cut some of the rainbow off if it was my picture, but you still see enough of the rainbow and I think it gives the composition more impact, as well as emphasising the height of the plane trails more.

Cor I realise its 2 years out of date, but number 3 is a corker! I'd love to get a shot like that, the boat, the Reds and a rainbow, all lined up perfectly for your viewing point! Top banana!

I thought they did! I saw it go over Newcastle earlier today, heading towards Sunderland. At least I got to see it, along with a Chinook and a few other helicopters.

Didn't go down but I seen a few jets, some WW2 type planes......And helicopters my god the chinook sounded like it was coming down in my garden

I was there yesterday, really glad I didn't go today... the weather is horrid

I managed to fill all 10GB of CF cards that I have, even after deleting some that were OOF. The Siggy isn't all that sharp at 300mm so I'm not expecting spectacular results but if I get time to do a bit of post processing today I'll stick a few in this thread

Very nice pics mate.

It was a toss up for me to either take my FZ28 or my HD JVC camcorder ... i ended up taking the camcorder and have most of the airshow in stunning HD!!

Going to get some of it up on YouTube ...
