My point exactly, rinsing it under the cold water tap is only likely to get rid of loose particles, all the germs, bacteria and pesticides aren't going to be shifted in the slightest.so using cold water probably doesn't do a lot. My family does it to wash off bits, like branches/bark/whatever plus they seem to taste nicer.![]()
