The assemble was made nice and easy with the TJ03's removable MoBo

and it wasn't long until I was slotting the tray back into the case.

Tried to keep the cable management as neat as possible.....

My Build booted straight to the BIOS and reformatted the drive and installed XP with no problems....I have had the build up and running for about 2 weeks. Temps are great and all running at stock....I have since got rid of the 4870 and have the 4890xt sitting in the rig now....;)

I do however have a few questions.... The TJ03's front intake fan has 2 types of power connectors, one is the brown 3 pin that drops onto the MoBo, the other is a white 4 pin connector that plugs straight to the PSU...I have both connected, is this wrong? should I just use the PSU connector?

I have also bought another hard drive, a SATA seagate 160 gig....The idea is to run my OS on the Seagate and keep the Sammy for my everyday use.(game applications ect)
The sammy is plugged into the sata 1 port on my MB...So is it just a question of removing the sata 1 cable from the back of the sammy and plugging it nto the back of the seagate 160gig, taking a new sata cable plugging it into the stat 2 port on my MB and the other end into the sammy, doing a reformat of both drives and OS installation on the new seasgate....will my PC now read the new seagate as Drive C amd my sammy as drive E?

I also want to buy a new sata DVD drive, do I just use another sata cable plug into the sata 3 port on my MB and the other end into the DVD drive, will the PC read this as drive F?
Do I also need to buy a power connector for the drive? or does the white 4 pin psu power adapter fit straight into the DVD drive?

Can any one recommend me a good quality Sata DVD drive plz....

Thanks for any help, hope you like my pics of my build......

You have some very nice hardware there!
Connect both fans if you wish to.
With the dvd drive you just use another sata cable and read it as a d drive.
Could you please tell me how much power will this take from the wall if you can.

And do I need a special adater for the DVD drive, or will it plug straight from the PSU?

Could you please tell me how much power will this take from the wall if you can.

Like I said I'm a bit of a noob, so how do I find out, so I can give you an answer......

Nice build - use some cable ties to bundle the cables into a main line, and i would be inclined to buy a Xigmatek S1283 to replace that AC7 as it will give you much better cooling :)

hey trO

Nice build, but next time you're feeling bored take it all apart and put it all together agian but this time tidying and hiding all those cables. Honestly theres no better, more thereputic way to spend an afternoon than in cable management. Braiding and heatshrinking as you go. very cathartic
Oh the joys....
Sata DVD wise just about any DVD player will do, you can pay for the brand names, and to be honest you might as well as there's crap all money diference between them all anyway.

You're right, you can just plug it in, the joy of sata ensures the bios will find it. But whatever you do, for the love of holy hard drives please ditch the IDE cable (or at very least replace it with one of the round style ones)

Next step OCing!!!!!

LOL thnx for all ya comments, I know it needs to be cleaner on the inside...The IDE cable was my only solution to the old DVD drive I had, hav now bought 2 Sata DVD drives and the IDE has been binned...
I will give the cables a good going at when I feel like a lazy therapeutic afternoon.....
