There's a little dude out the front of my house on the flower pot. He's been there for a few hours now. He's not intimidated by me, he just eyes me up and blinks a lot.

I'm a little concerned for his well being. He's still brown and fluffy (although has clear feathers... so not a complete infant) and i know he'll eventually turn into a dirty scavenging Air-Rat, but he's still kinda cute and i dont want to find a little damp corpse in the morning :/

Would the RSPCA be a little cheesed off if called out for a pigeon? I dont understand protocol for these scenarios. Which animals are important and which aren't?

You feed it rat poison.
A large hefty dose, you said it yourself, pigeons are flying rats, best hit em hard and young.
A large dose won't hurt the poor little critter, else you could snap its neck, or just leave it outside for a cat to deal with.

You guys are horrible.

Well it's probably been neglected / separated from its mother so unless you're prepared to keep feeding it and hand raise it don't bother.

Yes the RSPCA will probably just laugh if you ring them and tell them but you can give it a go.

If you do decide to kill it, either break its neck, shot it with an air rifle, poison, hit it with something.
