no way is that a'big cat' - looks like a completely normal cat to me compared to the surroundings. It also walks like a normal cat. big cats like panthers walk differently due to their size.
It doesn't move like a house cat.
We are looking at the same video right? The same cat?
I'm looking at this one.

optical illusion
i dunno. maybe its because i live near a train track and lots of cats but i just think its a large normal cat
house cats move pretty much exactly the same as big cats :/

Yes.
I think the problem is that railway lines never seemed that big to me, I don't remember them looking that big =/The UK rail gauge is 4' 8 1/2". Going by that scale, it puts the cat at about 2 and a half to 3 feet in length. Plus the tail (which looks very long itself, much longer than my cat's tails.
I say big cat tbh.
Indeed.Ignorance is bliss I guess.

There is such a thing as a black panther. Chances are he just figured you knew it was black from the video
Now, does anyone still really think this is not a 'normal' sized Cat?

A = Is the width of the Track, which is further away than B, B should appear wider than A as the Track is a standard width but B is closer, the narrowness of the Tracks at B is an optical illusion caused by banking.
D = Is the distance of A from the Cat, this is unknown but I would conservatively guess 20-30 Meters
C = Is a standard Concrete Fence Post which are 6.5' to 7' tall, you cannot see the base, but you can judge the distance 'G' to the Cat which gives a sense of scale.
Now, does anyone still really think this is not a 'normal' sized Cat?
