Epic, looking forward to this Anyone know if it will have local multiplayer? Still think that games like this miss a trick when they leave it out, even though use of split-screen is dwindling a bit.

When you complete the first mission it unlocks the other difficulties, I'm currently doing the second mission on Simulator difficulty.

Really enjoying the game actually, first mission gets a little repetative near the end but good fun all the same, and it's very satisfying when you shoot the wings off the planes

EDIT: Loving the second mission, keep low and blast along the river to the target

As far as difficulty goes, I'm finding 'Realistic' difficulty is probably the best compromise.

Yep, Agreed it is superb. Not liking the controls though, finding looking around without instead moving the throttle and rudder a bit of a chore, but I'll be investing in the aviator flightstick very soon, much better than the fiddly gamepad.

Definate purchase for me

Just use Padlock (left trigger).

Yeah that definately helps, but I'll be much happier with a proper joystick all the same.

Enjoying it so far, feels nice and smooth, still messing around in the first mission taking everything down, but plays nice and smoothly, loving the close up of the last plane you hit coming on in the PIP, definitely adds a nice touch as you see your bullets raining over it!

Can't wait for some MP dogfights, too

Probably me being ham-fisted, but on realistic setting, getting stalls waaay too easily!

What a game though, graphically excellent!

Turn both the stick sensitivity down to 8 notches from the left....you'll be able to turn as fast as the plane can without stalling, spinning
