The best drivers pass 2nd time...

Don't know about second time, but it is certainly my experience that first time passers are bloody awful drivers.

Gratz :)

Thanks guys. :)

Some of you may remember my thread from last time where I was perhaps a little too honest for my own good with my 18 minors and 1 serious. :p

Well, no faults at all today. :)

Partly due to the fact that the big **** that took me for the test last time was on holiday and instead, I got a fairly attractive lady type. :p

Result. :)

EDIT: Hmm, I see a pattern. Long sentence = :p / Short sentence = :)

For the benefit of the non-Northern Ireland readers who are wondering what the OP is on about. In NI after you pass your test you are required to display R plates for a year and are restricted to a maximum of (I think) 30mph. The rest of the UK doesn't do this because it's a stupid idea.

45mph. :)

And yeah, it's stupid.

Cheers. I did wonder if he'd just purchased a CTR tbh:p

It differs between drivers, i know one guy who passed after 4 attempts and he's been driving 5 months and crashed 6 times.
I know guys who've passed first time and are dangerous drivers and some who are great drivers.
I'd like to think i'm an alright driver, not always sensible but who is?

Passing your test is just being on your road to becoming a good driver, you can have loads of lessons and tests but it's gonna be a waste of money, experience makes a good driver.

Congrats though op.
