If a small man tried to mug you at knifepoint....

I don't know, I know this sounds weird but I am always wary of people around me, if I feel the need to be tense and aware I am, so if I thought a anyone was going to walk upto me and pull a knife I would like to think I would be ready to swiftly elbow him in the nose/throat but in reality you never know unless you are in the situation.

I also wonder how much force you would have to stamp on someones knee in while stood in front of you to cause it to snap in on itself.

I was mugged when I was younger, none of them were armed but there were a good few of them. And to be honest being young I was rather taken aback with the whole assault. The police never found them or my stuff. After that I swore to myself no one would take something of mine by force again without a fight.

If they win then they deserve it, if I put up no fight they deserve it. I also refuse to accept that the mere carrying of a knife constitutes power over me.

I'd probably just give them my wallet, though I'd sooner consider taking on a small/skinny guy than a tall guy built like a brick ****house.

think i would dropkick the little git, same with a little kid that had a knife pointed to me or my girlfriend

I once saw someone being mugged outside Temple Meads station in bristol near the coach area, I was above them near the entrance so couldn't do much, luckily a buss driver saw the bloke and started shouting, the bloke just legged it.

A lot of the time these people are cowards, as soon as they realise they don't have any power over you, or someone else, they will bolt.

Saying that however, unless the person attacking me was obviousely either not going to use the weapon or much smaller than me, I wouldn't risk it.

Would you?

A) Try and take him on, he's only a small guy.

or

B) Just give him your wallet.

I'd say A. But i'm sure i'd think differently if it actually happened. :o

EDIT 2: OK he's 5' 4 now. 4' 3 is a bit too small.

Dude, stop posting on the internet and either give him your wallet or take him on. Personally I'd give him the wallet.

I'd probably do what i did last time someone tried that, grab the knife and kick the guy in the balls hard, then run like hell and bin the knife.

I'd probably give a midget with a gun my wallet though.

I'd just give him the wallet tbh, i deliberately never carry more than £40 unless i need to make a big purchase that i've planned in advance. I'm of the impression, sure i could probably try and beat him up, maybe even win and gain some man points, but all it takes is one stab wound in a major organ and i'm dead.

Better down by £40 than dead tbh.

Give him my wallet. Never really carry more than a tenner with me and I cna just cancel the cards when I get home. Easy Peasy.
