Is it all HD though. Over on Digital Forums, a lot of speculation suggested that it would only be The Prem that is HD with a lot of the American sport in SD :confused:

well me for one. Since 5 stopped showing the MLB coverage this season I took out a three month reduced sub with setanta which luckily ended at the time of their demise and then ESPN America became free and now as of Sunday I will have to pay for it again.

Plus it looks like that it will only be SD coverage and not HD coverage as well which is a pity for the us sports.

I'm not fussed about the extra prem matches as there are more than enough games on SKY plus I mainly watch the spanish games.

I may have to get it for October for when the world series on and then cancel it after then.

SPL - 1 game a week
USA Major League - 2009 only
Bundesliga - FIVE games per week some in HD
Portuguese Liga - Two games per week
The Eredivisie - Two games per week
The Russian Premier League
UFC
French Rugby
DTM
Aussie Rules
European Basketball

They got more rights now.

A feast of football. I like to watch the german league so will be good having it free with xl.
 
Well I'm not very happy :mad:
I was getting ESPN America as part of the sky news & events pack. Good I thought, I can watch MLB when I'm at home. I thought this going to be for the foreseeable future
Now they've knocked it on the head after a month (its gone back to the way it was with Setanta & I'm not paying £12 a month for it, I pay too much for Sky as it is) :mad:

Money grabbers. :mad::rolleyes::p
 
Yup its annoying! My sky is too much and i aint paying the £12 like i did with setanta especially when setanta coverage turned out to be crap
 
Odds on Virgin Media automatically reducing my bill as I currently pay £10/month for ESPN America and it's becoming free (I'm on XL)

Not great I'm guessing!
