Big Cat caught on Video by PC

Run for your lifes:eek:.

No wonder there's 'Big Cat' sightings in the UK when quite a few here can watch that video and think it's a Big Cat...Have you people never seen a Cat before or been to a Zoo?

I've always thought it was quite mysterious the various UK 'Big Cat' sightings, but this thread really does explain the mystery to me and quite clearly too. There are no 'Big Cats' wandering around our Country, just lots of people who see normal Cats and think they're big.

What about the reports of hundreds of mutilated sheep a few years back though? Why would the government deploy the royal marines if it didn't take it somewhat seriously?

I have highlighted for you the flaw in your sentence, good day.

+1

Isnt there an urban legend that usually goes along with this tale. Its just a large Whiskers scoffing kitty :p

I haven't quite made my mind up about the whole 'big cat in UK' thing. But something tells me that if they were roaming around, somewhere along the line we'd have found a large dead cat by now...

Thinking about it logically, the officer who saw the cat obviously had a better view and perspective of it's size
Nobody wants to make themselves look like an utter tool, so for him to video it and let it be shown to the nation he would have to be pretty certain the cat he saw wasn't just a big house cat.
Some of the big cats I've seen in zoo's were'nt all that massive and compared to the video stills look about similar in size.

The man can barely breath let alone reason.

you think thats a normal sized cat in the op video?

At one point the cats body is about half the size of the railway track. Given that the rails will be a bit over 4ft apart, that makes the cat about 2ft long.

Big but not big cat big. Google "Kellas" cat. Thats probably what it is.

Main Coone cats are big but its not one of them.

no way man. railway sleepers are 8 foot 6 inches commonly. That cat looks about half the size of a sleeper + making over 4 foot long.

I think it's a dog too, admittedly there are parts of the film that make it look feline but other parts that make it look very dog like to me.
