Ford Fiesta - fitting MK3.5 bumpers on a MK3

Hi,

Just wondered if anyone has fitted MK3.5 bumpers on a MK3.

Is it easy, and does it look good?

I assume you mean the last of the line SI bumpers on to a standard MK3? I think XR2i/RS1800/RS Turbo bumpers would look better.

Go for the XR3i bumpers, this model has the prestige of being one of the best examples of humour in vehicle manufacturing history.

sorry, yeah the Si curvy bumpers.

any thoughts? I just need to replace a bumper, and have found a cheap Si one in the right colour.

I don't really want the overly spoprty look of the XR3

I don't see why the bumper shouldn't fit, it may look out of place if you don't replace both.

To be fair there's probably loads of MK3s rotting away in scrappies! Finding a proper one shouldn't be that hard.
