View out Bedroom Window

Just moved into a new house last week. First home on my own .
Anyway this is the view out of my bedroom window, its pretty much the same out the back as well. Living on a building site, its gonna be like this for the next 2 years.

Is it not a bit crazy to invest in Dubai at the moment? The arse has totally fallen out of the place hasn't it? I couldn't believe how many of the buildings there were empty when I went in March and apart from some impressive buildings and skylines I found the whole place a bit.... meh. Arabian theme park.
