that sounds really cool i hope a few guys from here manage to get on tv :)

good luck to helpers an JM

just a shame i live many many miles away

He's building the world's longest railway track between Barnstaple and Bideford too (approx. 10 miles)! Bideford station is about 100 yards from my house so I'll have to have a nosey when they do it. :D

Got the generic email but waste of my Saturday if I have to go queue in the morning. May just pop by in the afternoon if I'm free to have a peek if possible.

ah so looks like they were only making big bricks and didn't actually get to see them start to assemble it. Although i bet it will be difficult as weather has been pretty naff today.

I wonder if i will be able to see it when i drive past tomorrow.....

edit: does anyone know when it will actually be shown on tv?

There's normally a 6 month delay from filming to actually airing a program on TV.

I think with with publicity this is getting, it would be aired a lot earlier. My bets is about a month after May moves out of the house. ENough time for editing and so on.

Yeah I didn't think they'd build it like that, but it makes sense I suppose.

Someone should go over and grief it at night, dig a few tunnels under it or something :D

he won't pull this off, theres not enough lego in the world to do it. and hes going to need a hell of a lot more then 3m try 60 times more at least.

the way he has built the blocks out of bricks he will have enough lego for 11029 of the big blocks plus whatever amount the public brought. no idea if that is enough
