Longest you have been without yor car?

Ok so it is now 3 weeks since my car went for alterations and its the longest I have been without a car in nearly 8 years, and tbh it sucks.

At least I can enjoy beer all day without worrying I might have to drive.

So what is the longest you have been without a car and why?

This actually equals 6 weeks when I parked it in a hedge. But I had a 320i to drive in the meantime.

9 months due to ban. Long story and with other things in my life at that time quite a journey in itself.

Not the easiest of times.

8 months now, got screwed out of a brand new BMW from the new job I was about to start which fell through. Ended up broke and having to move, new job in Cambridge I'm better off getting the train due to no parking so have no need for a car now.

Reckless driving

1 month, 3 months and 6 months from losing my licence...(all happened around 20 years ago)

1 month ban for failing give way..

3 month ban for driving without due care and attention

6 month ban for riding/driving at speed dangerous to the pubilc (or something like that)

1 week, having driven to the lakes and found the cam belt tensioner completely loose.

Spent the next week driving one of the Puntos (a.k.a. abuse mobile), went back up, fitted part, back in a nice car.
