I've been really taken by this things looks, the reviews seem positive but I cant find this thing anywhere. I've tried my local PC shop, OCUK and some other online sites. The only place I've seen it is ebay US.

Its a Thermaltake SpinQ (CL-P0466)

Has anybody seen this around?

I've been following this since March/April time. Any chance that OcUK are going to stock this?

Oi mithrandir, you've been here since sept 05 but haven't noticed the no competitor rule?

The design looks interesting but ineffective. I'd expect it to very effectively suck air through the inside of the heatsink, but very little of the air will actually move out through the holes. I believe thermalright make a similar one, except their one is vertical and looks far more sensibly laid out.

It looks like thermaltake have cut the spiral in the wrong direction. Oh, no hotlinking either

I remember seeing a array of simular looking ones from Thermaltake on youtube. Cant seem to find the others though.

just done a quick Google, unfortunately it doesn't get a great review... it isn't in the top 10 and not recommended for extreme overclocking.
poor design..i dont even think it looks that nice, the spiral looks odd!

I'm not really looking for extreme OC'ing. Looking for a funky looking one that will cope with medium OC'ing.

does look pretty bling. not my thing (honest) but my help ppl with smaller cases as presumably not as high as the tower designs.

Like Jon said air flow from any fitted fan is going to be an issue me thinks. If there was an innovative solution to force air into the centre and out through the spiral though it looks like theres plenty of surface area to go at.

didn't realise it was so tall, 158mm isn't far off the TRUE etc. Doesn't seem that poor a cooler either. For a bling mall o/c machine for Lan party's etc it might appeal to some.

Frostytech rated almost everything as worse than the thermalright ultra extreme, their reviews are worthless in my eyes

I wouldn't buy it based on frostytech liking it any more than I'd replace my TRUE with a fenrir
