Vista 64 SP2 hates me

Since SP1, my Vista use has been flawless.

PRE SP1 it washell, and I kept going back to XP64 but with SP1 its not had a single hiccup.

SP2 has been a non stop barrage of hangs crashes and generally fannying about!

Firefox wont close after a few minutes of use.

PC shutsdown and restarts randomly when its under any load at all

Blue screens... I have not seen one in years, but now I have had 4 today alone!

Its now taking yonks to let me get any real use out of the PC once it starts up... To be fair, I never usually shut her down so I cannot truly comment on this fairly but now that its constantly shooting itself ( swap OT for IT in shooting ) Im struggling to use the PC.

Is this one SP2?
I cannot leave any feedback with ebay because the LEAVE FEEDBACK button is NOT appearing
It only happened the very day and even the very hour that I put SP2 on... Never done it before so its very conveinient timing if not.

I think I will go back to SP1 and if I get no luck then Im gettign rid of Vista and using the money towards Win7

try creating a new user account and using that.

As in a Genuinne Vista SP2 Disk, or an intergrated one?

I ask this because I had plenty of problems trying to intergrate SP1 into Vista, now am I going to get the same with SP2?

officially you can't slipstream SP's into Vista, so use a genuine sp2 disc

No, I realised that with doing SP1... It can be done, but it took a lot of coasters to do it.

I used VLite

it's not really slipstreaming though, it's sort of reverse integration with vlite

a real SP2 disc is far more advised.

that's why i said 'officially', ie, MS don't provide a way to do it
