Travel Forum?

I'm thinking about travelling around Europe and I could do with some advice on where to go, what to see/do, where to stay, what travel arrangements should be made, etc.. Does anyone know of any decent travel forums? I've tried a couple (I think one was Lonely Planet and the other was Rough Guides) but they seemed very quiet, only a handful of posts were being made every day.

have seen some very good answers to travel threads on here - you could do worse than try GD as a startig point

TripAdvisor is an excellent site, but I'm not sure it has a forum.

Yes, there are forums for destinations and also a few others for things like cruises, air travel, etc etc.

lonely plant forums (thorntree) are very good for up todate advice
