How much for the part and how long should it take a garage to fit?

id go down scrapyard and pay like £20 for one and fit it myself but assuming u dont know how it would probly take 30mins-1hr for a garage to fit.

03 corsa, and i know abosolutely nothing about cars

Fit it yourself, you only have to undo 1 bolt and the spring will drop out.

Lol, im probally gonna get slated in this forum, but im not a car person (obviously). for me a car is simply a device to get me from A to B.

apart from the road spring, its given me no trouble at all, and costs nothing to run. perfect motor.
