ASUS MARS BAR

If your really serious about building a high end rig... get 3x 285GTX with water blocks pre-applied...

Otherwise stick to 1x 295GTX or a couple of 260/275 in SLI...

and the fact that each card is numbered individually 1 to 1000 :S

so basically you have to be off your head to buy one.

I think people would want to bite :p

and not so much of a brag factor onces they find out the price

i would get the regular 295 on the single pcb,

or get 2 geforce 275 cards (or two 285's it would still be cheaper!) and performance would be better as well.

Nom nom nom bate, you would have to be silly to buy one of these cards when these cards are not really designed for gaming that much for like for a physic machine of some sort.

Whats the full spec ?

ive got a budget of 4k to spend on the computer itself ,and this isnt a thread to make people bite or **** people off ok.

i brought a watercooled 8800gtx when they first came out and there still a great and powerfull card years later ,so there is no reason why the "mars" wont be the same if not better in years to come.

spec so far

Intel Core i7 975 3.33Ghz (Nehalem) Extreme Edition
Corsair Dominator GT 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-16000C8 (2000MHz) Tri-Channel With Airflow Fan (TR3X6G2000C8GTF)
Intel X25-E Extreme 64GB 2.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive (SSDSA2SH064G1)
evga classified motherboard
X2 asus mars or 3 X watercooled 285 gtx's
enermax galaxy evo "powersupply"

If they supported DX11 then I'd say go for it...

But if the GT300 is even close to the kinda spec they are banding around then its going to give similiar performance to the setup your buying for closer to 1/3rd the price... you'll basically end up with an expensive turkey down the line imo.

As I said if you seriously wanna put some money down for bleeding edge performance get some (2 or 3) water cooled 285GTX and clock the socks off em... otherwise save your money...
