I am looking to get a new amp for my car in the next month or so and have set myself a budget of around £100-150. Now ideally i am looking for a 4 channel amp to run the front speakers, then bridge the two other channels for the sub. I have had it running in a setup like this before, and since having to go to a 2 channel amp for just the sub, i have felt that something is lacking in the front speakers so want another 4 channel :D

Speakers I will be running off the amp are here

Sub i am running is here

What would you recommend i get as i don't have a clue really :(

Second hand Audison SRx 3 (the older model is cheaper than the newer one). Got mine for ~100 quid iirc off the 'bay.

Do a bit of Googling around for reviews and such :)

Hmmm i am a bit iffy about getting second hand stuff off ebay though, especially when i am spending £100 or so.

I have however spotted a Vibe Slick A1 amp which would give 200w to the sub and 75w to each speaker which would be ideal. Does any one know whether the Vibe amps are any good, or whether they are ones to avoid?

I don't know if they even exist anymore but years back I had a denon DCA 3500 amp in an old escort RS Turbo, it sounded superb and I'd certainly have another! :)

I wouldn't worry about the amp being second hand, it will probably be fine and the Audison range are exceptionally well built and reliable.

They are 3 channel, 2 for the front and 1 for the sub, which I am told is better for SQ than 4 chans with 2 bridged.
