just activated moved from bt i received a zyxel wireless modem router it just keep losing connection after 10 15 mins and i have to reset is this normal as po just took over my bb today also is it possible to use my bthomehub instead of this

The homehub will be locked down to BT I'd imagine. whether or not it can tell the difference between BT resale and wholesale I don't know.

IF your line is newly activated with an ISP you can expect some drops here and there while it finds a consistent stable speed. This is usually referred to as the training period and dependant on ISP it can be anything from 48 hours to 10 days. If it drops leave it be and it should re-sync after about 30 seconds. If not and if it persists for more than a few days then I'd contact their support as you may need to return the router/modem as faulty.

hi ben, the zyxel routers supplied do occasionally drop their PPP session which has been confirmed by zyxel as a bug in their firmware. while it may just be the stabilisation period, it would be best to flash the firmware to be sure.
i can do this from work remotely if you shoot me an email with your router's MAC address, alternatively i can have the firmware sent to you via email and you can flash it yourself.
you can also find the firmware update on the zyxel homepage.

is there as newer version if so i can let u have the details you want as not sure how to flash
