I thought this could be an interesting thread - what have you recently discovered you have 'grown out' of? It doesn't have to be something childish, just something you no longer enjoy in the same way that you used to.

Oh and no 'wife' or 'girlfriend' comments, too predictable! :p

I recently discovered I have totally grown out of general video gaming. I used to love spending hours and hours playing games but now I just find them incredibly dull, to the point where I can't even invest the time getting into them. I recently bought Knights of the Old Republic 2 on the PC. I got to the create a character screen, started choosing my characters attributes and I was like 'what is the point in this?' and closed it down, never to be played again :o. Still, I do like a brief multi-player session every now and again.

What about you?

Games Workshop alas. Love it to bits but my local store changed and my mates there stopped playing due to other commitments and so I stopped going :(

Same really, and overclocking stuff :O (can I say that here ? :D), went from tweaking pc's for years to a mac (cuz it just works ! lol), and now into gardening and fishtanks etc, must be as you get old the shiney tech stuff gives way to the natural world, as I guess you understand things more, nature just blows the mind the more you learn.

Profound thread or what.

computers

they are just something i work with now, and on the software side, not hardware - i have a five year old laptop at home, and because i didnt buy it new, i'm not even 100% certain what processor it has....

Getting completely hammered from drinkng. Used to do it every weekend but just can't be arsed anymore, it's more like once every month or so.

18 getting on 80 :D

Gaming/Computers....

Not really interested, don't even know what good games are anymore... COD is probably the only game I'd really play if I had the choice.

Obviously Wii with a good few people.

I've grown out of driving around with my friends burning off petrol (well, i grew out of that years ago actually!)

Drinking on a regular basis i've also given up too, i used to be out every Fri/Sat/Sun night on the ale, don't bother any more.

Gaming definitely. I was last into it when the 7800GT came out and stopped well before the 8800 series was released. Still have the 7800GT (replaced cooler with a fanless one) with a i7 920 CPU and 12GB RAM.

Gaming to some extent. I used to play FPS for hours a day and now I can bearly bring myself to boot them up. I am however, addicted to a little WWII RTS at the moment! :p

Clubbing and getting drunk.

Just feel pretty apathetic about the whole thing now, and not a huge fan of getting drunk anymore.

I've developed the exact same problem with video games :(. I just can't be bothered, it has to be either a REALLY good game to keep me interested for more than 10 minutes, OR be quick/fun enough to be worth playing for only 10 minutes.

Sucks, I sorely miss sitting in my pants all day playing games and in the dinge of my bedroom.

Computer games.

I just feel no motivation or excitement towards them at all these days. I don't even know when it happened, I just stopped playing them, Fallout 3 was the last thing I played.

I don't even miss the social element of games like L4D anymore either. The thing I discovered is that the longer you are away from your online 'friends' and community, the less important they seem, and the less important you remember them as being.
