It sustained massive damage from the two towers falling.
For anyone who is interested in wtc7. Especially the initial damage and the timeline of damage to collapse.

I study this for my degree and your original post doesnt make any sense.
Every building is different and there are so many variables for fire e.g. not enough fireproofing of key components (bearing members), lack of active fire protection(not enough sprinklers), poor design fire protection (fire spread too quickly from room to room/floor to floor).
Different materials, different designs - the amount of variables present is enourmous, what will destroy one building might not apply to another. Hence why teams of professionals with at least 7 years of study take part in the design.
It really annoys me, posts like this (not the consiracy theory behind it). If you dont understand please ask but trust me, that first post is poppycock.

The turkey demolition was an absolute botch job from a professional point of view. Surprised they even managed to detonate it when looking at their skills.
There is a vast difference from an old well build structure with a low center of mavity and height and a towering building designed for commercial not industrial use.
Thats even before we get to the bit about a plane travelling at high speed crashing into it and blowing up.

Shush, we all know there is only one way to make any building, be it a 200 story super tower, or 2 story house...(and just the 2 story house has a number of very different methods of construction despite being pretty simple in theory).
That website also claims that the UK government is about to spend $700 million dollars on installing CCTV in every house in britain to ensure parents are doing the right thing and kids are eating properly and going to bed.
Now that I can beleive since already we have more cctv cameras per person than any country in the world.
WTC 7 wasn't hit by the planes but it did have huge chuncks of itself ripped out by flaming debris from the two that where hit.
