The GREATEST Takeaways Thread!

just moved from southampton to wirral an god i missed the takeaway places up here £4.50 for gorgeous chinese takeaway big enough to fill 2 people, including rice or chips :D

:(, they look fantastic. For a drunk munch. When your drunk bigger and greasier the better.

Our local Asda's have been trialling them from a local supplier with a view to selling them nationwide, I believe the feedback has been positive :)

You get the best ones in Stockton mind ;)

This man speaks the truth but sadly I'd rather beat myself up to save the poor chavscum the trouble if I was visiting stockton.

But I do regularly pick one up on my stumbles home from Middlesbrough.

Indian Spice/Heaven in Alsager, near Stoke. Absolutely gorgeous! Even saw somebody with a OCUK jacket in there, come on own up, who was it?

/stalker :p

It can get a little fierce of an evening :)

Borges on Prince Regent Street do the best over here btw.

Nearly nineteen quid for an indian takaway for me and the wife around here!...works out quite expensive with beer.

I've decided we need one of these threads so people can boast about how great their local takeaways are. I'll start with the nations favourite, fish & chips!

Ok so it doesn't look all that great but it's covered in salt and vinegar complete with mushy peas, bread and a big glass of ice cold coke!

What an absolute treat that was!

For people around my area, you must try Croft Fisheries on Croft Avenue in Acklam![/QUOTE]
That looks disgusting

I would not eat a Kebab if I was blind drunk. There was a small grubby looking one up the road from me and one night my daughter popped in to say hello and she had brought one of those vile things with her. It smelt and looked like dog's vomit.

I went into burger king today and bought a Mini Angus, £2 for this tiny little thing which would not feed a mouse. At least McD is cheap and nasty not expensive and nasty. The best take away burgers I have found are from the Burger van in Churchill sq. They are £2 and tasty and quite filling.

Shaz Balti (Indian) in Holmes Chapel
Tiger Lilly (Indian) in Nether Alderley

Canton (Chinese) in Knutsford
Spices (Indian) in Knutsford
Mae Gaew (Thai) in Knutsford

All fantastic takeaways if you're ever near any of them! Fully tested by myself, although the Shaz Balti is the best indian out of the three mentioned.

There is a local Pie 'N' Mash, unbelievable! They were even in the Evening Standard for best value meal a while ago, Maureens at Chrsp Street.

That is to say London, E14
