Do people still play 2142?

I used to love it but lost my disk a while ago and now thinking of picking up a cheap one... Wondering if there are enough servers around to play on these days.

Does anyone here play?

I'll add you when I finally get hold of it, keep missing the end of auctions... Wish I could find my old disk! And I hope to god I can remember my log in details.

Still plenty of servers around so no need to worry about that

No matter what people say (usually die hard BF2 players) 2142 is not dead and will not die in the forseable future.

There are still quite a few active players, most of which are waiting for BF3 or even BFBC2 to fill in the time

Not sure which game type interests you?

The main 2 with a good following are

1) Titan - Good servers for this are

|z| clan
50K - servers (Always admin available to kick tards)
GQ (for moving Titan)
i-clan

Infantry only
Will update the server list for this when I get home as cant remember any apart from GQ atm

Also if you dont want the nade spam from normal infantry servers there a mod called Clan Mod when you only get the basic weapons (So no pk rockets or RDX,APM), this mod is very popular with the better players in 2142
