What have you grown into?

Classical music.

As I kid I learnt it, played it for about 10 years, but I never understood it, or particularly enjoyed it. It took me 20 years to develop an ear to actually understand and enjoy it. Now I have a huge selection of stuff from many hundreds of years of composition to listen to, and the depth and variety is staggering. Next I'll be looking into foreign classical music too, not just European stuff.

You didn't even like Nelly the elephant?

Seems a little strange to me that you could hate something that is so ubiquitous in the modern world. Video games, Television, Movies, Radio, anywhere with a speaker.

didn't like Music fall stop. from classic to rock and anything in between.

Movies and TV were different as it's not really music.

I just found all the music I was familar with prior to being about 14 was the generic crap they played over the radio. In my opinion too, the 90s were pretty poor insofar as the popular music scene was concerned. Music became more 'important' (it's such a cliché to say it's your life now!) once I managed to explore music for myself and discovered areas I liked and could subscribe too. To that end, I still don't like music about gangs and guns because it has absolutely zero relevance to me.

I remember when I was around 13-14 and had the "joy" of obtaining my first mp3 :D which happened to be Will Smith - Wild Wild West. I now love trance (anjunabeats is a label for a group of Trance DJ's... so from rubbish random Pop music to actually narrowing down what I actually liked was a pretty big transformation.

I have grown into a world of death, sorrow, pain and suffering. A world of untold anguish, endless struggle and incessant turmoil.

And popcorn chicken. God I love the stuff.
