Wow. Good prices. Would be good for an OS installation. As above, I'd like to know their expected lifespan etc.
 
I knew it, I knew 64GB SSDs for less than £100 would be a very real possibility by the time I have to buy Winodws 7 in May. Win.
 
betting it won't be long till HDD are a niche products.

My first Hdd for the amiga was 20mb i think. That was in the days when 4mb of ram cost £150 and average house prices were around 25k.

Delivered a lot of newspapers for that a1200 030.
 
Hmmmm.

Very tempted to grab one of the 128Gb ones for my OS but I think I will wait for the W7 release and see what is available then.

I remember those days! Lots and lots of papers! only because it was from PCWORLD! Damn you PC WORLD!! Never made that mistake again!!

HDD will certainly be dropping their prices soon! As will other things say one good thing for Microsoft! they certainly help with that!
