One for someone who has owned Lian Li and Silverstone silver cases (that will be a rarity!)...

How close in colour is the Lian Li silver to Silverstone? If I were to put a Lian Li component in the front then would it blend into my Silverstine case or would it be very obviously different?

no idea, it depends not only on the grade of Ally; but also its surface finish..i.e light reflection/ absorption.

Hi,

Main differences based on a TJ107/V series comparison is surface finish, Lian Li is anodised while the Silverstone appears to be a brushed finish.

As Mal X states reflection characteristics will be the main difference, I can post a picture tomorrow comparing bexels if you want.

Cheers, Simon.

That would be great if you can. Thanks.

Hi,

Sorry been busy at work and forgot to bring any bexels back for a comparison. I will do it the other way around and take my camera into work and post the pics tomorrow evening.

Cheers, Simon.

Hi,

Two pics here, pic 1 & pic 2

The pictures do not convey how much brighter the Silverstone Bexel is, the brush finish is much coarser then the Lian Li which also has almost a matt anodised finish.

Hope these help, Simon.

the third bay down is different, that's the Lian bay...........i'm similar to you, very fussy about surface finish

google like crazy for a Silversone bay...because unfortunately the Lian bay looks totally wrong in that case
