Hey there,

I'm new to overclocking, so take it easy please :D

In Pc Format mag, (Issue 230 page 12) it reviews the AMD Phenom II X2 Black Edition. And it says, "...using stock voltages and a simple air cooler our 550 sample hit 3.7 GHz, a solid 600MHz overclock".

Now I've read a few things, but is this really possible? By increasing the cooler and not voltages you canget this much more performance?

Once again, please take it easy, I know it's a noob question.

Thanks

Yes it very possible, remember each and every cpu is different they may have a really good one it luck of the draw. These new AMD seems to more fussed on their temps rather then vcore so keeping them cool is important.:D
hope it helps
