2 valves per cylinder
174bhp
183lbft

whack out the cat and the interior. give it a service. put on some better brake pads and fluid and some braided lines and it's done.

Or am I missing something?..

i would have thought the quattro would be rather heavy and not all that great for track use, although i could be wrong
you'd need proper suspension too as it's raised on the quattro

It was 130kg heaver than a BMW E30 320i when they both left the factory, but it has much more torque. You're probably right about the suspension though.

being an audi the handling will be particularly dull ( and yes i owned a 16v coupe and 20v quattro coupe)

suspension will definitely need to be done. even if its not knackered it will be far too soft.

4wd is quite boring on track as well, especially with that relatively small amount of power. my 20v only broke traction accelerating in snow or piles of wet leaves.

oh :(

I thought that it's be quite a cool, different from the norm track car. Live and learn I guess.

You should have seen what happened when I dared to share some experiences in the technical section around ADSL Max years back, all the beards and people with food in their belly button got anal and had a geek attack. ;)

I wonder if any of them have slept with a woman yet? :D

finally my daily search for "got anal" turns up a hit

why did it have to be you housey and in motors of all places :(

anyway - email in trust

:p
