Hi guys.

Father in law ordered stuff from an article in the back of the Sun news paper,

He has had issues with them since he placed his order. it never appeared, so he called and called and constantly got the same story that it hadnt been delivered to them from the Manufacturer.

Recently they finaly agreed to give him a refund, but gues what? Nothing.

I have just tried to get onto the site and get a whole host of rubbish

When ever you call it is engaged.

So im guesing they are gone.

Can someone check the site and confirm that, also anyone else had issues or heard of them?

Im sure i was just a Stadard banking account Visa im sure. and value was about 40-50 pound

Whats bugging me is he is retired and just wanted a little greenie he could use in the garden to grow toms, poor git doesnt have great amounts of money.
 
Not intending to be an ass - but I'd never ever order from a .tv domain personally :S unfortunatly not something joe public is so aware of.

Personaly i wouldnt either, I saw the add and was less than impressed by it, initialy i had nothing to do with it, but thought i would try and help in the end. Im guesing we cant even do anything like a charge back with the bank card.

Ahh well. mite see if the girl has a spare 20.00 and put same towards it and give him money, Feel sorry for the poor git

Ask the bank to start a chargeback on the amount.

And if he paid with any credit card (not just a visa debit) he should be able to get a refund via that.

Also, I beleive there used to be a scheme (cetainly in the likes of computer mags) where any orders made as a result of an advert in the mag would be covered in part by the magazine or something.

First port of call for the op's FIL should be the card issuing company, to let them know he hasn't received an order he paid for by card, and the company he ordered from has gone bust.
