you need to get into the menu on the osd and turn off rta, it's fairly obvious when you open it up.

Yep, only problem is that it's the one setting that doesn't get saved in memory... bloody annoying, as I have to turn it off again every time I switch the monitor back on.

Its not black!?? :( Oh dear.. this seems like no no for me now as I need something black...
have you tested it out yet though?

Im not getting at the lack of audio connector Im getting at the complete lack of info anywhere, despite asking.

Nevermind tho OcUK have kindly arranged to have it picked up as item not as described.

Only thing Im waiting on hearing back on now is the following RMA clause:

4. Returned items must be packaged properly and shipped in a PLAIN OUTER BOX. ALL RETURNED PACKAGES MUST HAVE THE RMA NUMBER CLEARLY VISIBLE ON TWO SIDES OF THE OUTER PACKAGING. Any items that are poorly packed or received without RMA numbers will be REJECTED and subject to a £10 + return shipping + VAT charge.

I received the monitor as you would expect, the retail packaging and no outer containter.

Im hoping they don't expect me to o buy a huge ass box to fit this in lol.

Off to grab a HP 2448hc I think

Is this monitor any good for gaming then?

Thats what I really want to know as well... as thats exactly what I'm looking for...
How do you go on about returning a non-faulty (just non-satisfactory) product?
Do I pay for the shipping back to OCUK? as I might give this monitor a try myself as I don't care about any other aspect of the monitor except for gaming performance and not too much black crush :D

DSR it my deals are the very best on the interweb ;)

DSR applies to any items bought online.

In this instance (my return) the return charges are with OcUK as the item is not as described. Thats my understanding from the feedback I've had from the store.
Unfortunatley guys as the thing was silver I didnt even bother playing with it, I gave it a quick measure and that was about it.

Screen
w 26cm
h 39.5cm
d 8.5cm

stand
w 22.7cm
d 24cm

Strange I know but I needed the stand to be as small as possible and this footprint was way smaller than my previous W2207

If sending back at your own expense be wanred that anything booked thru delivery agents such as parcel2g0, parcelmachine and their ilk seems to remove the insurance against damage for screens. If they loose it it will still be covered but damage they aint bothered about.

I recently sold a monitor and the shipping on that was 17.99 via Parcelforce 48, it weight in at a shade under 12Kg
