HTC Hero, coming July on Orange and T-Mobile, makes me want!

finally after five days of having the handset, I've actually been connected to the network so I can use the bloody thing! rejoice!

Is it possible to change the SMS tone?

WiFi Fixer, I think it is.

As for dropping WiFi, I found that it the Hero didn't like my router. Once I plugged in an older Netgear DG834G to test with that, it held onto the connection just fine. Have to experiment with the settings on your router I think.
 
The clock widget on my homepage is always initially an hour slow, then updates after a fraction of a second... slightly annoying sometimes though! Anyone able to shed any light? I've tried using manually set time rather than network controlled but doesn't seem to help!
 
The clock doesn't update in the background yet so that is why you see it flicking through.

Same with weather and twitter.

Will probably get patched it at some point.
