For the OP, you think your dad dose not give a whatever about you, ive got a teenage daughter I see contempt in her for asking her the smallest of things, like cleaning up after herself. You have to see that if you are in your dads care/house do the little things and dont be miserable about it. When you come to asking for bigger things like a few $ for whatever you want to do with a mate the goodwill from the little things you did and not acting like a little brittain character will keep things sweet. My daughter knows this and always comes back to civilisation after stepping out of line and acting like brat here and there, in short treat people including family the way you wish to be treated.
On the other hand if your dad is honestly in your face for no reason (not just reasons you think mean nothing) then you need to sort things out with him or go get help for a permenant place to stay.
Like the other poster said, if you cant take responsability for chores and rules and that is why you dont get on with your dad, the army is no place for you, you will get eaten alive in basic.
And one more thing, I dont want my son in the army either and ill do my best to keep him out but if he dose go in, ill support him.
