**Champions League Play Off Draws Fri 7th August 11am**

I don't know why people want less teams from the big leagues and more teams from lets be honest, crap leagues. Its football, its supposed to be an elite competition, how good will it be to see Barca, Utd, Real, Chelsea playing, a team of amature footballers from San Marino.

More great teams, less bad teams = better football, more viewers, more money and more reason to play.

If it became 2 clubs from the top 3 leagues, you'd have no chance of a good league, very few good games and a LOT less money in it because less people would watch.
With less money involved, and less people watching, less people giving a damn about it at all, the top teams will take it less seriously aswell.

The same rubbish argument: 'you'll get a team from San Marino in!'

They still won't get out of qualifying so it won't matter.

Do people hate the FA Cup because you get underdogs winning? No, that's the beauty of the cup. Who cares if there's less money in it? Who cares in Arsenal or Atletico Madrid aren't in it? Not me.

Professional football shouldn't be about money or glamour it should be about football.

Out of interest, how do you expect other teams to compete if they can't get in the CL? Or do you want the same teams qualifying and the same teams winning the tournament?

Europa League Draw:

Rapid Vienna vs Aston Villa (:()
Everton vs Sigma Olomuc
Fulham vs Amkar Perm
Dinamo Zagreb vs Hearts

Personally, it would be refreshing change from watching: Barca, Utd, Real, Chelsea playing each other year after year after year etc.

I've always felt that the old European Cup was a far better and more exciting competition than the CL, which, to me, appears to be nothing more than a vehicle to wet nurse the big clubs as far into the competition as possible.

Wouldnt it be hilarious to have an open draw for the groups to an extent so crazy groups like this could be formed....

Man Utd
AC Milan
Real Madrid
Bayern Munich

The big clubs unfortunately have the power but Kudos must go to Uefa for making this change, albeit a small one, that should see some lesser nations benefit :)

Celtic have had some very good results away from home that would have been better but for cheating players and dodgy keepers.

Juventus 3-2 Celtic - Nicola Amoruso dives with no-one near him and gets a penalty.
Man Utd 3-2 Celtic - Giggs dive gets an undeserved penalty.
Bayern Munich 2-1 Celtic - Marcus Hedman falls over his own feet and misses an easy save.

Let's not forget about -

Liverpool 0-2 Celtic
Barcelona 1-1 Celtic
Ajax 1-3 Celtic

Celtic have beaten almost every team who has come to Celtic Park in the Champions League so don't get too cosy about thinking that Arsenal will have an easy time, far from it.

Omg Oddie sorry but ^^ MUAHAHAHHAHAHA. A Celtic fan moaning about players falling over and getting fouls/penalties awarded. You couldnt make it up
