Slight Earthquake Tremor

So like about 10 minutes ago, I just felt a slight 2 second earthquake tremor, whole house shaking and everything. I live in the Thanet area of Kent and after calling some neighbours and friends, they also felt the same thing. I haven't seen anything on news websites or such yet and so I was wondering if anyone who lives nearby also felt anything?

I remember like sometime 2 years back, Folkstone had a few small tremors too, but never expected one to come all the way here. Was quite fun whilst it lasted, even though my mum is slightly shakened abit as it woke her up.

Well after looking around, I guess this may be the answer to the supposed "Earthquake".

Unexploded bomb detonated at sea.

And so yes to the question above, I do live in Margate and so very close to the sea i.e. 5 minute walk.

But that article says the bomb was assploded at 10:30, your post was before that.

Yeah thats the thing that is puzzling me. Either they got the time wrong (GMT BST mixed up), or I was still half-assed asleep during the time. In the end that bomb was the source of the tremor.

EDIT - Kent Online. They got the time right, but "Sunday"? HAHA!

It would be fun though right?

Sure it may not be great with people losing their homes and/or dying, but maybe it could push our crappy Government into gear, or in our case, see how crap they would react to it, especially with how well they handle with so many other problems at the moment.

lol, what happened to good journalism!? One gets the time wrong, the other gets the date wrong.

I wouldn’t like to experience a major one, from what I have read it is very scary experience.
