Ok, Am I totally in the wrong here or does it sound like I am being ripped off?
Currently I am paying £37 per month for 20 MB internet with virgin media, and they are telling me that because I am an "existing" customer, I can not get the 50MB connection for 35 a month??
In fact, the woman told me that it worked like this:
35 with 50MB and their phone line (with the phone cost on top). If you add say talk unlimted, the price of the internet suddently becomes the regular 50 per month? So in short, she informed me that there was no way that because of the package I am on that they can adjust it and place me on the 50MB connection that I am basically paying for.
To sum it up, I do have their telephone line, and because of that get - 8 from my bill, to make the 20MB connection cost me 29 a month, and yet 50MB is costing new customers 35 a month.
Anyone clear this up for me?
