*** PSU Deal! In Stock now! ***

I'd love to know how many of these you ordered from ocz

I'm betting they go fast, and attract new customers to the site. I think this might be your thinking too :)

Had one of these for about a year now, no problems at all. Can't remember how much I paid but it certainly wasn't as good a deal as this.

Sorry to bump this thread, but is this a temporary deal, or will you continue to have stock for this product? I ask because not many other places seem to sell the PSU, and it'll be a few months before I buy a new PC.

Temp deal - would recommend you order one, if your interested. Sold almost 1/2 of the stock in a week.

The reason it is cheap is because I offered a silly price to OCZ for lots of stock, and they kindly accepted after a bit of pressure :) I aim to make our customers happy.

sata usage, I have 8 sata connectors getting used at the moment will this power supply be ok

You using the molex adaptors for the second card?

Yeah, this PSU only has 2x6pin PCI-e (one modular, one hardwired). It's on the end of the life section of the OCZ website too...

EDIT: Hmm, the offical OCZ guide and website say and show it has 4xPCI-e connectors, but the OCZ manual and all the reviews I've seen (from 2007) show only two. Can anyone who's bought this confirm the number of PCI-e connectors on these units from OcUK?

Just checked the stock and there is 1 x PCI-E hard wired onto the PSU.
And 1 x PCI-E Power Connectors for the modular connection.

And a 2 x PCI-E adapter converter so in theory you have 4 x PCI-E GFX card power connectors

to note just got to a local Newcastle shop and bought a
coolmaster real power M850 , to power them 8 sata hard drives a ssd also using a gtx280 with 2 canon ip1500 printers, logitech mouse, two writers one blu ray internally and the antec 900 case fans, motherboard is as sig.

What do you mean PCIE converter Ace Modder?

Let me jus make this simple, if I bought two 4870s, would this PSU have all the cables needed to power it? thats 4 PCIE power cables necessary.
